Maria Karamanos is a 4th-year student at Penn State University. She has interned for the Hershey Company in demand planning, and twice for Clark Associates in Lancaster, PA in purchasing and procurement. Maria consulted for Walmart on a semester-long project to aid in truck driver attraction and retention. She interned for Microsoft within their Operations division and will be returning full-time as a Supply Chain Planner within the Azure Cloud group.  

At Penn State, she is a part of Lion Ambassadors and serves as a committee director, organizing projects to showcase University pride and giving tours to prospective students. Additionally, Maria is a part of the Sapphire Leadership Academic Program and served as the Vice President for Sigma Chi Mu Tau, the supply chain honors society. She was also the President of the Hellenic Student Association, fostering a love of Hellenic culture on campus and engaging students from commonwealth campuses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
