AWESOME network member Jill Zunshine has received the 2016 Education and Learning Person of the Year Award from ISM (Institute for Supply Management). She was honored at the award presentation in May for “her significant contributions in creating a professional development program that increased satisfaction, attendance, and revenue.”
Jill, who is the former Head of Global Real Estate & Facilities at Hewlett-Packard Company (HP), has been involved with the New York chapter of ISM for many years and served on the Board of Directors as Director of Professional Development. She also developed a customized Learning Opportunities Survey to gather feedback, and that feedback became an integral part of ISM’s new Professional Development Strategy.
At HP, Jill was the Vice President of Global Procurement for the Americas, and also served as the Chief Negotiator for HP’s deal with General Motors. She previously held leadership positons at Deutsche Bank, Lucent, and AT&T.
