Two topics with special relevance to AWESOME – supply chain strategy and women in the workplace — are getting major media attention.

Janet Yellen, Chair of the Federal Reserve, delivered a speech at her alma mater, Brown University, titled “So We All Can Succeed: 125 Years of Women’s Participation in the Economy.” Her speech was covered widely in the media, including an article on Bloomberg.com, which quotes her as saying that holding back 50% of the population from reaching their full potential is detrimental to our country’s growth and prosperity.
