New Jersey-based Johnson & Johnson will host the third annual AWESOME Symposium on May 7, 2015. The event, bringing together senior women executives in the supply chain field, will be co-chaired by Kathryn Wengel, Vice President, Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain, and Ann Drake, CEO, DSC Logistics, and founder of AWESOME. The first two Symposiums were held in Chicago.
According to Drake, “One of the most exciting developments since we started the initiative has been that women from all different parts of the country and a wide range of supply chain roles are beginning to network and collaborate. So far we’ve identified some of the key issues related to advancing women leaders, and at the last symposium, we focused on specific steps to address them.”
At the 2015 Symposium, AWESOME will continue to focus on women’s supply chain leadership and development and provide multiple opportunities for substantive interaction among senior supply chain leaders. Popular features at the two previous symposiums include small group sessions, up-close interviews, and discussions with male leaders and top women executives in other fields.
