Johnson & Johnson has announced they will be awarding funding for research to women in non-tenured academic roles doing research in science, technology, engineering, math, manufacturing, and design. Since many of these areas have direct application in supply chain, we wanted to make you aware of this opportunity.

One academic in each of these areas (thus a maximum of 6 recipients) will receive $150,000 in research funding, spread over 3 years. The application period for 2018 awards is open through October 31, 2017.
Johnson & Johnson launched the new WiSTEM2D Scholars Program to fuel the development of female STEM2D leaders and feed the STEM2D talent pipeline by awarding and sponsoring women at critical points in their research careers, in each of the STEM2D disciplines.

In addition to the Scholars Program, which supports women at the graduate level, J&J’s WiSTEM2D program has facets that encourage girls 5-18 to become interested in science and, at the university level, works with leading academic institutions and partners to support women in their pursuit of STEM2D degrees.
