As the AWESOME network continues to grow in numbers and influence, Dr. Nancy Nix, one of the supply chain field’s leading educators and practitioners, will take on a new role as AWESOME’s Executive Director. Working with AWESOME’s founder, Ann Drake, CEO of DSC logistics, Nancy will lead a number of initiatives to move AWESOME forward as a high-impact, sustainable organization that advances women leaders in supply chain.
Dr. Nix and the AWESOME Advisors, selected in early 2014 to provide input for plans and programs, will focus on a number of priorities, including
supporting the development of emerging leaders and young professionals.
Dr. Nix is formerly Executive Director of the EMBA Program and Professor of Professional Practice in Supply Chain Management at the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX. She received her doctorate in Logistics from the University of Tennessee and her MBA from Temple University. She has extensive management experience with the DuPont Company and Reliance Industries Ltd., in Mumbai, India. She has served as an AWESOME Advisor since January 2014.
