Transformative Leadership Panels

Joining Forces for the Greater Good: Supply Chain and Sustainability

Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 12:00pm

About the Event

As we continue to navigate a global pandemic, environmental disruptions, and ongoing geopolitical unrest—companies are focusing now, more than ever, on ESG (environmental, social, governance) initiatives in an effort to improve efficiency and profitability, satisfy stakeholders, and more.

According to McKinsey, “More than 90 percent of S&P 500 companies now publish ESG reports in some form.” What ESG and sustainability mean for each organization may vary, but it’s safe to say that most have at least begun thinking about its implications. For this reason, we curated a panel of truly outstanding women leaders—who span multiple industries and sustainability-related job functions—to discuss their organization’s sustainability efforts.

Their discussion was focused on actionable ways that they are building sustainable, change-oriented, resilient supply chains which simultaneously minimize waste and risk and prepare us for a better tomorrow.
