Joann Michalik, Managing Director, Deloitte Consulting LLP, and an AWESOME Advisor, recently participated in the Maker-to-Manufacturer Event hosted by the White House Office of Science and Technology. The Maker-to-Manufacturer Movement gathers participants from public and private sectors to help makers bring their ideas to fruition and encourage innovation.

The event, in support of the President’s Nation of Makers Initiative, gives movers and shakers the opportunity to share manufacturing knowledge, explore future trends, discuss challenges and propose solutions.
