A mega education session powered by AWESOME on the topic of Innovation is scheduled for 8:30 – 9:45 a.m on Wednesday, September 28, as part of the Annual Conference of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) in Orlando, Florida. AWESOME also will hold its annual networking reception in the evening on Sunday, September 25.
For the mega session, a panel of experienced, successful leaders will speak about driving innovation and the leadership needed for ground-breaking changes. Moderator of the session is Dr. Nancy Nix, AWESOME Executive Director, and panelists include Darci Harris, VP Supply Chain, Mars; Andrea Atwell, VP Supply Chain, L’Oreal; Marie Robinson, COO, Michael Kors; and Karen Jones, CMO, Ryder System, Inc.
AWESOME has collaborated with CSCMP and other organizations on various types of conference sessions since 2013. Mega sessions involve a longer, more in-depth discussion. The AWESOME panel will address questions such as: What are the definition and examples of innovation? Why is supply chain innovation critical to business success? What role do leaders play in challenging the organization and driving innovation and change? What are the barriers to innovation and the critical leadership skills required to overcome them?
